Seth Steinhauer, DPT

Seth Steinhauer PT,DPT, CSCS has embraced the DC metro area since transplanting from FL to join the team at Town Center Orthopaedic Associates, P.C.  He earned his doctor of physical therapy degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL and his bachelor of health science degree from the University of Florida in Gaines-ville.  Seth found interest in physical therapy during his time as a collegiate athlete at the University of Florida where he played baseball for the Gators.  More recently, Seth likes to share his time between competitive soccer and kickball leagues and compete with his family in running half and full marathons.  When not playing sports, Seth and his wife can be found walking their little Jack Russell terrier at one of the many parks in the Shirlington area.
As a physical therapist, Seth has gained a wealth of knowledge from attaining his certification as a strength and conditioning specialist and being trained to use Gray Cook's Selective Functional Movement Assessment which allows him to take a more functional approach to patient treatment.  Additionally, Seth is trained in a technique known as trigger point dry needling, which he has found very useful in treating conditions affected by muscle tissue dysfunction.
