Nicki Ferramosca, MSPT, CSCS

 

Nicki is a physical therapist licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She specializes in orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation and is an active member of The American Physical Therapy Association – Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine sections.

Nicki is originally from Richmond, VA and graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She continued her education at The George Washington University earning her Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. While at GW she received the highest student award – “Health Science Student of the Year” which recognized her academics, clinical skills and community/school service.

Nicki was a two-sport collegiate athlete in soccer and women’s rugby and her participation in athletics has lead her to focus on sports injuries and treating athletes from youth to professional levels.

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Nicki creates specialized strength programs for her patients as they finish with physical therapy. She also specializes in custom-made orthotics to correct biomechanical faults of the feet. Her approach with patients is full-body; utilizing manual therapy techniques, prescriptive exercise and patient education.
